Opening Up the Discussion about Mental Health with Teen Girls in Racine County

In 2025, Racine County Public Health partnered with Girl Scouts of Wisconsin Southeast (GSWISE) to release a mental health guide specifically for teen girls titled "Let’s Talk About Mental Health." The guide was distributed through school districts, community events, the Girl Scout Council, and more. It includes information on identifying anxiety, depression, and disordered eating as well as tools to help manage feelings at home, how to ask for support, and even how to manage time on social media in a safe and healthy way.
