Introducing New Foods to Kids Through the "Harvest of the Month" Program

The Fond du Lac County Health Department partnered with the United Way, Olden Organics Farm, and Associated bank to bring "Harvest of the Month" to local daycares. It creates a fun, hands-on experience for early childcare kiddos to learn where food comes from, why healthy eating matters, and encourages them to try new foods.

The "Harvest Highlights" program was created as part of the local Living Well Coalition, an initative by the Department to bring local folks together to address and support local health and wellbeing needs.
